What do you think of this "Free Forum"?

Hi Smile
Well what do you think this far?
Can "Free Forums" compete?
Would you rather prefer to stick with formats like vB Bulletin (like Ulitmate-DVDR)?

N.B. Would you like some options added?
Post below.

What......you mean this forum is free Wink

I was told I had to send a blank signed check of to some geezr by the name of Zeb A. Dee to join lol! - Admin, do you think it is too late to get a refund Shocked

For a free forum it is pretty good, maybe not as many options as a paid for one but none the less still plenty of tweaks and options.

With the way things are these last 12-18 months I feel that we will see free forums on the increase.

The one option that I would say I do miss is an "all todays posts" button like on UDVDR

There is an "Action" button in the upper right hand corner of the page once in a post. One of the options is post since last visit. If that is able to be tweaked to be always available, that would be really nice.

Hello Smile
Wouldn't it just Smile
A bit like the "Todays Post" bit mentioned.
I do not think this is possible, but will at some point look into it.
[Unless someone else wishes to Wink ]

However these are easily missed.

Hello Smile
It would be useful for some of you (i.e. the voter for the merge option especially).
Would follow up your thoughts with a post.
Not being funny, but I would like to hear others viewpoint on the whole forum concept.
This being a forum in its infancy.
Is in many ways very malleable.
So its direction & form could be very much down to you.

Personally, I have no preconceived ideas about what/why etc this forum should be about.
Other than it is for its members in the truest of meanings.
"For the people , by the people". Wink
