Eudcedit - Windows Character Editor

Post by LeslieG on Sun 21 Feb 2010 - 16:50

feel sure that most of you experts have come across this before BUT for those who have not have just come across a hidden little programme in XP. If you click START, then RUN and then in eudcedit you will find a free character editor where you can make your own characters, signatures, Initials etc etc and combine them into any font that you have on your computer. You can even make your own font if you are artistic and have the patience. To find out how to use this programme use the site below. have really enjoyed playing with it, unfortunately I have little or no artistic talent, to those of you who have there is no limit to what you can do with it. I am dual booted, XP and Vista I am posting this from XP I have not as yet checked with my Vista OS whether it is available there too. cheers

Not to worry Les........anyway who said anything about thinking it - we know it lol!

I will move this into the Operating System forum - so it won't get lost amongst the chit-chat.

Thank you Alex, I am pleased that you are not in doubt over my mental capacity. LOL
Strangely enough the post now appears edited, is this all part of a dastardly plot to convince me that I have lost it. LMAO

You are correct Alex, I have tried it in Vista and it works fine, still it doesn't help my lack of artistic talent. Embarassed
