What's your favourite movie?
Hi
The title sums it up really.
Whilst I have many, in science fiction.
One of my favourites would have to be The Matrix.
Others to follow no doubt.

Re: What's your favourite movie?
I actually find this a hard one, as to me it is how you are feeling when you sit down to watch a film,i.e. grumpy, sad happy. That all said and done Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle-stop Hotel gets my vote.
Sod the action movies, give me Ladies in Lavender any day. as a second vote.

Like Hugo said, it depends on my mood at the time but I never tire of films based (partly) on real event like JFK, All the presidents men etc.

One movie that I still like after 26 years is Local Hero

The village where it was filmed is about 1hr along the coast from me and is just in the news again today (as it was in 2007)

I must admit that Ghost has one of the sexiest scenes in it where Whoopee Goldberg is at the potters wheel. Oops maybe I mean the other slip of a girl.

Hello
Rumour has it that the initial release of Lord of the Rings on BD will not be the extended version. So keep a check on it.
That's if you want the extended.

Hello
You mean you don't have the audio cassettes & cd's as well!
I have both sets on DVD too.
I wonder if they will still make you change discs, by filling up on extras.

Three Fugitives is a good comedy, with Martin short and Nick Nolte.
Especially where Martin Short is robbing the bank with the pantyhose on his head. LOL
