G'day Joel.
Well, I'm half-trained in 1st Aid. One more day to go.
Now... if anyone feels like they're having a heart attack or cut off their finger, come over to me and I'll fix you up.
On the home front, picked a heap of strawb's from the garden and put in a raspberry plant. I'll 'chuck' in some tomato seedlings over the weekend.
Love this time of 'our' year (Spring).
Looking forward to those pics mate. War history... My fav.
OOps... time to go. Catch up tomorrow.

Re: Log in game!
Excuse me while I brush the cobwebs away...
Aah, that's better.
Rostered on to work this morn. then off to cricket. Chasing 280 odd runs from 75 overs. Had some good overnight soaking rain. Great for the gardens. Bad for us. We might get a game going if it stays dry today but the wet ground will slow the ball down making it hard to score runs. On the good side, a wet ball makes it hard for the opposition to bowl and catch the ball.
Time to cook brekky. Bacon, eggs, snags, mushrooms, tomatos, Hash browns. Not bad for Breakfast is it ?

Morning Al.
Wish I could have been there for breakfast with ya it sounds fantastic!!! My favourite meal of the day!
Cloud and sun mix with temps up to about 10 C not too bad for this time of the year. Hoping it will be dry for Halloween Monday night.
Have a good weekend folks and Al Hope the cricket went well.

Good Morning All !!
Overcast morning here. A little chilly. No good on the cricket side Joel. I open the batting. My partner and I lasted 15 overs for not many runs against some fairly tight bowling. You don't expect that quality in the 4th grade. My partner went out caught then me 6 overs later. both trying to lift the score rate. Had a couple of 'hitters' down the order but still finished over 100runs shy of their total.
Had a wet cold Sunday. The weather cleared enough late arvo so I planted the tomatos and put some pea straw around them and the Strawberries.
Finished the weekend with a lovely roast lamb and vegys for tea.
What'd you get up to ?

Just about to have an after-lunch coffee then get stuck into work.
The twins have their first 'VCE' exam today... English.
Then a few more next week. Then, that's it for school.
Then the next phase... They'll probably do an Art / Design course next year. More studies. I
I tried full-time study... Only lasted one year. Couldn't handle it. Was lucky enough to get a job.
You do any studies/courses after school Joel ?
How're your youngn's going ?

Re: Log in game!
He Al, I worked after school. Met my darling wife a number of years later and put here thru school. Then I went back to college and graduated with a SSW worked with young offenders for a few years while in college then in the wholesale Automotive Auction market for a few years and then back into construction / renovations which I have been doing again since about 2001.
Congrats to the girls for finishing school!
Catch ya later!

Must be.
School is finished, but exams aren't. Both are stressing over that at present.
Met my wife through work. Call it Karma...

Ohhhhhh! I see!!!
We could also say what we're doing as we log in.
I'm listening to my sister's ballads...
Even she has fallen asleep!!
So it's my perfect opportunity to change the playlist.

Hi guys.
Just had my second coffee on the way to work.
Bleary eyed still.
It's my turn for a week of standby (starts 4:30pm Friday). So... Had 2 hours sleep Friday night (fixing plant faults with the laptop), then a call-out 2am Sunday morning(cold and rain). Mercifully a quiet one last night.
Now to get stuck into my normal work (admin stuff).

Re: Log in game!
I'll need it !!
The boys are repairing the electric contacts in the switchroom that go to a 3phase 1000LT/sec pump. That's on top of other construction works... A recycled water plant is under way so lots of trucks and visitors going in and out through our site. Can't wait for it all to finish. Get a bit of peace. Damn!! there goes the phone again...
