Radio1Xtra has become possibly my most listened to station.

Is Trevor Nelson (he is so laidback, you need to check his pulse every now & then) & the infectious Gemma.
Think of a cute overzealous 5 year old in the body of a young lady = Gemma.
So a good combo.

Is the musically incredible Rampage!!!!!!
If you love black music you'll love 1Xtra is the slogan.
If you love 1Xtra, then Rampage will be one of the top (if not very top) crews to get on down to.

Well really!
This is the "Babe" of the station.
A little infectious like Gemma, but still manages to be 100% young lady.
Has her get down serious moments.
But these are never over long (apart from this thing about Chris Brown ).
Hopefully that is now going to fade into the past.

Radio1Xtra has of course the (legendary) Tim (the big dog) Westwood.
He is still up there was the pack leaders.

Got a Sony CMT-BX70DBi DAB Micro System with Built-In iPod Dock about a year ago.

Great unit except once they started building houses opposite us the DAB reception is poor. oh well looks like another job for me to do, go but an arial & fit.

Are you using DAB in the house?

If so, have you had to get an additional Ariel or booster? looking for recommendations as I need to get one to boost/improve the reception on my Sony box.

Yes I use DAB in the house.
I use my FM external ariel.
Seems to work a treat.
Got a standard omni-directional one.

I had found this on Maplins, the FM reception is fine just the DAB that is a problem.

Maplins ariels are always questionable.
I can even get sufficient signal strength with my car mag-mount.

Just looked at the arielsandtv's web site - will need to look somewhere else to buy

The 3 element DAB is £22 but they want £33 to ship it as although not in the highlands I fall within the IV postcode area.

I have had this problem before with some companies and the next one will offer free shipping
