Les,
Don't know if I've already mentioned...
I was on the verge of pulling up stumps...
Until I went to a garage sale a couple of weekends ago. The bloke was selling his cricket gear.
Mine is still in good nick so I ask him how much for the bat alone... $50... SOLD !! A hardly used Gray Nichols Predator. I checked the weight when I got it home. My old bat was 2lb7, this new one is 2lb8 and with a lot more meat on it. Has a beautiful big centre... unlike my horrible old one. Just needs a couple of new grips and I'm laughing !! AL PAL is now looking forward to the new season. Maybe one or two left in me... we'll see.

While you have the knees to be able to keep running and the eyesight to pick the ball up in flight, my friend, never never give up the best game in the world.

What do you think to the chances of England becoming the world No 1 test team this year, they certainly hammered Sri-Lanka in the first test and they are no mean team.

Couple more seasons I reckon Les.

Don't know if you've heard..
For us Katich and North have been dumped contract-wise and a couple of youngsters brought in. Hope they can bring something to the party.
I still feel it'll be a hard series against your boys in two years time.
