Unlimited Texts & Internet from O2 (Pay as you Go)

Post by bubbles19 on Sat 21 Nov 2009 - 5:16

Those who have read my other thread about the half price LG Cookie phone will know I bought one for my youngest daughter last weekend. Well since then she has went through 2 top up's on top of what was on the phone to start with affraid - Having looked around for what deals are out there for PayGo I have found this one.

If you visit the O2 website (or O2 shop for that matter) you can pick up a variety of Sim cards depending on what deal you want.

This one was on the website (which allows you to order upto 4 sims all free and free postage - which we always like Very Happy )

for £15 a month you get 500 texts & unlimited internet but heres the deal - get one of these sims & topup before the 31st January 2010 and you will get unlimited texts instead of just 500 - and you still have your credit as well for voice calls Thumbs up

In fact my eldest currently has an O2 contract and is paying £35 a month for much the same deal Shocked

Great deal for pay as you go. Kids basically txt 95% of the time now so a great cheap way of pleasing them.

There are also the Pay monthly sim only options to consider. Though the phone is actually online and you are charged if you go over your tariff you rarely do on normal use.

I am on T-mobile Solo 20 and for £19.57 a month by direct debit 30 day rolling contract i get 600 any network minuets , Unlimited txt and 1GB internet.
Do not even get close to them. So if your kids are pretty sensible then it might pay to set them up on these.
T-mobile are also doing a £15 a month , 500mins and Unlimited txt. No internet though.

Sorry Alex another provider from what you posted , I know 02 do them too but T-mobile offer the best deals on these.

We have considered a sim only contract but she has had a habit in the past of excessive use and would have no qualms of over using the phone to the extent that we would get larger than expected bills each month Shocked

Until such time as she has a regular income she can make do with pay-go lol!

In that case it does sound like the better " safer " option. For your wallet lala

I also think that you can get free calls to other 02 network phones or something ? In that case send the friends all free 02 sim cards for Christmas making things even cheaper in that sense.
