Re: Forum makeover!
Kinda cool, however, I believe there needs to be some "separation". Everything seems to run together.

The Home Page, Forum & Sub Forum Pages are cool. It's just the threads, in my opinion, need some separation.

Re: Forum makeover!

but think that that a bit more screen real estate for thread content or how about smaller pixel user info pane on left ?

Hi
You do realise I am really stupid!
Could you give a bit more info as to what you would like/prefer.
P.S. Wanted to check out the "quote" bit... too!

Re: Forum makeover!
I really like it but I imagine you figured I would after all the transparency stuff i tried at McT's.
I also like the threads and think the seperation with one being transparent and the next one not makes it easy to navigate!!
Very nice work Martin! You Da Man.
Edit: The main page and the forum i think look great being fully transparent... Guess it's just me. Sorry Lario.

Re: Forum makeover!
Hey Zeb, the Portal looks a little empty on the right side may want to shift things around there?

The separation between posts pass the "lario test". I do like the "Home Page" and Forum Pages like they were initially.

Re: Forum makeover!
I'm easy with whatever you all decide. I do like the colors for text and the way they show up on the background image.
I am color blind so some forums can be very difficult for me to read. And this blasted monitor displays awful color...

Re: Forum makeover!
I like it, but I am easy and don't dwell in the forums like I used to. Too damn busy with work and kid activities... Just glad to be working, I guess. Co-workers are dropping like flies as outsourcing has ramped up.

I am... I am doing a knowledge dump, documentation, and building our infrastructure up so it can be supported by a lesser experienced staff... and I am taking my time, but doing my job well, and looking for something else.
Now, back to the forum... After a while thinking about it... How about a green full old oak as a backdrop with a morning blue sky??? This red and black looks like we might be getting ready for Children of the Corn... "He want's you too, Malachi."

Hi
My problem here.
Is to get a background that allows the forum to be visible.
Also cover the whole background (rather than tile).
It is about compromise.
It needs to be a tad on the darkside.
So a green tree on a stormy day, perhaps.
However, those I have found will either.
Not load at all.
Load but with poor imagery.
So far I have this & the green/blue/black effect that work.

Hi
Well that's it for now..... (unless you know different...
)
Posts are clearly seperated.
