Running Microsoft Security Essentials in my Windows XP Pro installation through VirtualBox in Ubuntu. Works good for a free app in virtual space!

I've got a friend that is strongly recommending Sunbelt Software VIPRE... anyone here give it a go? He says it is lighter on resources than Eset NOD32.

I use Kaspersky too, but it has it's share of problems right now and it does not appear they are being addressed. Of course, I am unwilling to beta test a security suite on my everyday use PC. While I don't really need it, the Thunderbird 3.x issue with their plug-in is still a problem (less of one now that Thunderbird released an update that does not allow the Kaspersky plug-in to launch)... and there are a few other nagging issues as well that I feel Kaspersky should be focusing on.
