CRICKET !! for Les & JayCee
Well done gents.
Looks like cricket will be worth watching for another couple of years I suppose... for for you guys anyway.Enjoy it.
K.P.'s getting on the front foot boasting a bit.
Our boys are over in Sri Lanka for some O.D.I.'s and test matches. Think we are down to no. 5 in the rankings. Bit of work to do.
Looking forward to the little red ball being 'smacked' around.

Not sure how long we will 'reign' but it won't be as long as either the WI or the Australian sides of a few years back. I think India were weak more than we were strong. Can't be right when players choose the IPL over test cricket but money talks.

Indeed it does.
The loyalty shown to the players here in Aus from the cricket board ain't good. Unless you are high up in the Test and one-day teams you don't get much and you're a long time out of the game. Why wouldn't you do the IPL... big money for a bit of hit n giggle.

I hope that you are wrong John, I have a feeling that we are going to have a five year reign at the top. We have a great bowling side and that is the key to winning tests. It is no good your batsmen getting 600+ and then your opponents getting 600+, that only leads to draws, it is being able to bowl sides out that win matches. After five years I think that the Aussies will be at the top of the pile again. You cant keep those bas****s down for much longer than that....LOL.
Will you be putting the gloves on again this summer Alby or will you just carry on opening the batting.
Whatever I wish you all the best.

G'day Les,
Certainly opening at this stage. What grade... I have no idea... doesn't worry me. Keeping ? ... hhhmm. Whilst I love it, I'll stick to being emergency only.
Kept for a couple of games last year with no ill effects. But I'm a year older. And the backs a bit dicky at present. I'll be shooting off to the Physio shortly for a 9 am appointment. Looking forward to the sunny weather.
Hey, speaking of bodies Les... hows yours holding up ?
Aussies just won the series against Sri Lanka. Give the boys a bit of confidence.

Hi
You weren't playing for England against the West Indies were you?

Cause that might explain Englands' grand total (not many runs).

Yeah,
But that's only T20
Hit & Giggle stuff.
I wouldn't worry too much.
