Recent changes Poll!
Hi
Been quite a few changes lately.
So obviously it is "Poll" time...............
Let's have some votes.
See whether it is favourable or not....
If you have any suggestions.
Please post in this thread.
With examples where appropriate.
N.B. Latest addition...... Post #.
Unfortunately you can't click on this for the usual copy paste type link.
So you would have to put something like.
Copy & paste thread page.
http://www.knowledge-tree-uk.org/t613p475-person-with-the-last-post-wins
Add post #.
Post # 290 (this didn't work as it should)
Solution is to limit # posts per page to 15 (had set it to 25).
Sorted!
Default back to 25 pages.
So link now is.

But it is a start.
Have added to end of Poll.

Re: Recent changes Poll!
Hi Martin.
I was wondering why HTML does not work in the computer spec's section of the profile? It works at McT's the way i set it up but not here? Could it be enabled so the Comp Specs can be emphasized the way the user would like?

Re: Recent changes Poll!
As for the picture backgrounds in the reply boxes I do not like them but I appear to be in the minority and that is fine. This may help you understand who voted for what...

Hi
Is that why McTs looks like this to me currently....

But in answer to your question.
It may be conflicting/being over ridden with CSS code that controls Profile position.
If this is so.
Then not only that need rewriting/removed.
But the "online" icon, possibibly the #'s.
May to be edited - rewritten - removed.
Whilst that seems a lot when it works @ McTs.
The structure of these forums are quite different.

Re: Recent changes Poll!
Don't know what you have done to come up with that image on your screen?
mct's looks as always for me using ie, chrome and opera.
remember that any changes you make at McT's must be done within the CSS as it overrides all other settings.
Why not just get a basic skin for mcT's with no CSS enabled and start from there. Should make it alot easier for you to adjust and maintain.

Hi
I have done nothing.
It has been fine all day.
Until about 30 mins ago.
I haven't done anything there for over 24 hours.
If not more.
Re: Recent changes Poll!
What screen resolution are you using? I use 1920 X 1080 and everything is fine over there and here as far as dimensions go.
maybe you need to wait and see if other report what you are seeing also as i do not have that issue at the moment with ie, chrome or Opera.

Hi
I use the same settings.
I guess if it's just me.
Could server related.
I wouldn't use FF/Chrome.
I'd rather just have the problem...

Hi
Yes I had a feeling it was you....
Note I've made the Topics icons smaller.
(Not saying that was down to you...
I just wanted to get away from plain white backgrounds.
The current ones seem to work for most.

Hi
Having looked at it more.
It is done as a result of all the stuff in profiles.
Mood - Warning bar - Flags - Browser.
To say nothing of what I've already mentioned.
You get similar problems with sigs.
If too much there.
Something gives.
Although that only shows via the PM system.
