Not a bad price
, however i cant really recommend anything that is not Verbatim. Especially on the DL format.
I still find using single layer media a better option personally.

Re: Just bought these not tried yet
I have used SL Ritek-G05 media in the past without any real issues (although burned at half the recommended speed of the discs).
From what I have read on other forums I would be wary of using anything other than Verbatim when using DL media.

Re: Just bought these not tried yet
I have now tried the discs: I copied Indiana Jones using DVDFab, it was hopeless the programme did not even finish copying before it gave up the ghost. I tried again usind Magic DVD Copier, this successfully copied it and it played perfectly on my computer. (One up for Magic Copier) However, I then tried the disc on my Philips home Cinema system and It was playing fine. I then ejected the disc and tried again this time after 2 minutes with the screen saying loading, the Root screen came up and just stuck there. I only tried the double layer as an experiment, (Its become a hobby---as my wife says). I am really 100% inagreement with both McStylisT and Alex. Single Layer and Verbatim.

Hello
Pioneer DVDRW's can have a greater success with Ritek media.
But the once great media king is no more.
Only good for CDR's now.
Stick to verbatim for SL & DL media.
In particular DVD+R DL if wanting to go this route.
