Mablethorpe

My parents took me for years to Mablethorpe on the coast in Lincolshire in the summer and I carried on the tradition with my kids. My wife and I decided that we would like to see what the place looked like in the winter, probably deserted with a few dog walkers etc.
Well it didn't work out like that. It was nearly as busy as it is in the summer, turns out that once a fortnight on a Sunday they have motorcycle racing on the beach. There are loads of classes with some kids too small to pick their bikes up when they fall off. Its well worth a day trip if you enjoy motor sport.
