My Dad adn i were having a conversation today in fact. He said we're not a democracy anymore.. a republic instead which in his opinion is one step away from a dictatorship. Difference being that we elected our leadership. I wonder what legacy we will leave behind for our children.

We elect them and turn our back expecting them to represent the people... instead they represent the wealthy and the corporations by taking money from lobbyists and doing their bidding.... And we, the people, sit back and let it happen... Depressing isn't it?!!?
