Audio Blood Lust
So this is the music I like: Alternative Rock, Indie, some Classical, Top 40 Pop and some R&B.
My Favorite groups: Muse (my all time fav!), Blue October, Black Eyed Peas, Train, and Snow Patrol. I like others too but these are the ones that come to mind at the moment!

Jammed some Slade, Mudcrutch, Chevelle, and the Blues Brothers soundtrack today. I'm bringing some UFO Lights Out with me on the MP3 player tomorrow along with some KISS and 'tallica!

Like some Muse.. Slade(yes!!). The daughters have put some 'My Chemical Romance' on my player, but stick with my standard Acca Dacca, Midnight Oil and Pink Floyd with Led Zep sneaking a few songs in there...

Okay Sanshoe... Listing to The Outfield - Play Deep right now... Just finished Robin Zander's self titled 1993 solo (Robin Zander of Cheap Trick)... Coming up after this, UFO Light's Out... You should be young enough to remember those!!!

Now these I recognise, all good bands, although I wasn't into the music scene much in my younger days. I liked most of the 60s/70s music, Beatles, stones, british invasion, Aussie bands like Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs/ John Farnham/ the easybeats just to name a few.
Not into Rap at all, can't stand it. More easy listening music these days.
See I am old.

Amen to the RAP CRAP... Not a fan, but have heard a few catchy ones... not enough to get me to purchase a CD or song. Now, The Beatles... that's some good stuff... I had many on the LP's growing up (parents records)... I recently got the remastered stereo box set for Xmas holidays from my wife and kids... It's incredible. Now my oldest daughter wants to get The Beatles "Rock Band" for the Wii or PS3... every time we go to a Best Buy store she heads right for the demo display and that's where we find her when it is time to leave!

Re: Audio Blood Lust
Rap sucks...thought I would chime in on that one. sanshoe...you may remember a band from Australia called Crowed House. I had three of their albums and listened to them all the time back in high school (late 80's).

Ahh C'mon Alby was that fair,I don't feel as old as I actually am, and I've still got all my marbles, well 98% of them.

Now Sanshoe, you know the things I say are with total and utter respect..
Did that sound sucky or sarcastic....?
The radio is current tuned into 'Vega' 91.5 (FM) here in Vic. They played modern stuff but also a lot the older music which is great. Listening to some T Rex at present. Remember David Essex's Rock On .. good one. Do get them where you are ?(the radio station I mean)

Re: Audio Blood Lust
Well tomorrow morning I will start the 14hr drivehome back to NC! Ugh!!!! I so do not want to make that drive.. going to be playing lots of music on the CD player I think! I miss my son so i am trying to keep that in mind as my happy thought! The soon to be Ex shocked me yesterday telling me he applied for a job in Rochester, NY ..ok so did not see that one coming. So, I may be moving back to NY this year instead of next year. I can pretty much walk into any hospital in town and maybe walk out with a job in hand in Buffalo or someplace nearby so relocating for me won't be a problem.. I may have to give up NICU for a little while, but financial security is more of a focus right now where raising my son is concerned especially if I am soon to become a single mom. Sigh...
Wish things were different. And he wants me to pay his relocation costs... i wonder where he thinks the money will come from when i have to worry about that very thing myself! He's just being mean i think.

Because he says i am forcing him to move for the sake of our son. He doesn't want to have limited visitation if we live in two separate States as I will retain primary custody of my boy. I. however had no intention of moving until after the divorce became final which would be this time next year. I had a long conversation with him a few days ago about what is holding him in North Carolina and i think I forced him for the first time to really think about it and he then said "nothing" as we have no family there nor any friends other than one set who is about to move out of state themselves soon when the wife retires from the Air Force either this year or next year. He's having trouble with his job currently, and so he applied for a transfer up North within the same company just yesterday because other than it being warm and snow free in NC, there is nothing at all for either of us here. We both have family, friends, and support up North. I can transfer within the government system to a veterans hosital so my job and health care is essentially secure. I think this is his one last ditch effort on his part to try to control/hurt me. He is having trouble seeing the bigger picture.. all he sees is me pulling away from him.. not all the crap he's done to hurt me that brought us to this crossroads of our lives. I think he is also trying to be a little bit vindictive as well. Don't worry i won't pay for his expenses. He most likely apparently will move before i do since we also have a house to sell. Once all is said and done he will have half the estate so he can use that for whatever he will. I am not sure how he can justify saying that to me though. He uprooted my life first causing me to want a different life before i uprooted his with the separation.
