Grand National

Post by bubbles19 on Sat 10 Apr 2010 - 4:57

Last of the big gamblers here in the Bubbles household.

Everyone picked their nags, all each way, 6 nags altogether with a total bet of £20.

Out of 6 only 1 was placed.......

Waiting to see what we have won but I suspect it has cost me more to win less lala rotflmao

Don't like the G G's myself, but a few years back the wife and I went to the local races. Last race she and my sister put a couple of dollars on a 100/1 shot , female jockey as well (no disrespect).
Guess what...
They were grinning from ear to ear !!

Yeah,
They're doing well without Big Bazza at full forward. He's doing well with the doggies.
I tipped against my own side (Cats) and it paid off. This is just a work tipping comp. $25 each for the season. not much but it does get 'willing' near the end.
We also put the first 2 rounds of tips in a sealed envelope. Creates more suspense.
The only other I put money on is the Melbourne Cup sweep. Again.. a work thing. and that's all. No punter am I.
