Hey guys, I am sure you both will do a great job, congrats, now get to work and get some advertising here and get rich.
Re: Welcome to the "Moderators"
Advertising is down to Admin, but if there is a way I can get rich I'm open to offers.

Hello
Giving it a try.
To increase traffic more than finances.
It would not amount to much, anyway.
Whatever is raised, if anything.
It would go to the forum.
To pay so that members didn't see the ads..................................

Re: Welcome to the "Moderators"
First you can try to become an affiliate of certain softwares that you think the members and public would benefit from, make sure the software is the best of breed, something like AnyDVD is the best of breed in the Decrypter class. Pick a best of breed in all catagorys. Then contact the company and become an affiliate. This will increase traffic and people will know that the Staff here knows their stuff. Just a suggestion.

Hello
All very well, but affiliate links only work if folk have cookies enabled.
When just flitting through, they probably don't.
Even those who do.
Often clear cookies on such a regular basis.
To be of little use.
Also a lot of these said "Golden" affiliates not only have their own sites, but are already inundated with requests.
At the end of the day this forum is free.
You buy extras like preventing members seeing ads, increasing storage for gallery or forum address.
If you don't subscribe to ads, their presence is minimal.
Most of these free forums don't appear to use the gallery enough to expand the size of memory.
The cost for the address is for 12 months & just a token charge really.
You don't have to take this option, though it makes passing on your forum address easier.
Which is the only thing.
It is likely that you get marginally more traffic with this method.
