I dumped Kaspersky some time ago in favor of ESET NOD32 and Comodo Firewall... Glad I did!

I too dumped KISS a while ago.
Have tried MS Essentials, AVG, Avast & Avira (free versions).
Currently using Comodo Internet Security - free suite (A/V + F/W).
