Despite having a current KIS (KasperskyInternetSuite) license.
I have found & prefer this

Hi I have been using the Comodo firewall standalone installed with Avast anti-virus Free version on Win 7 64 bit .No problems and have been using this combination for most of 2010 or longer.recommended this combination for others and they find it quite effective.

You can use it how you want.
Firewall on its own.
A/V on its own.
& so on.
In fact you can download just the the f/w or a/v.

Hi Martin, is the Firewall integrated with the Anti-Virus or is it a seperate instal?

If intigrated can it be completely disabled?
