Weather !!

How's everyone going weather-wise ?
We are having a very wet spring down here in Geelong (Aust.)
Totally out of the norm for us. It's getting back to what it was like almost 10 years ago.
Our summer starts December.
We've only finished one game of cricket. The rain has put a stop to the others.
I gather for a lot of you it's getting a bit nippy now.
We seem to get a deluge every second week. Great for the garden. Crappy for everything else.
Water restrictions have eased as well.

Warm here today, about 25c expected, I'm off to golf hoping the sea breeze will keep the temp down a bit.

Me too.
Geelong's having weird weather. I think we've reached the annual average. First time for nearly ten or so years.
We seem to get a big dump every second week. Always starts around thursday/friday and continues over the weekend. Same as this upcoming weekend. Great to get the rain. It gives me a break from watering the plants and vegies. Wouldn't mind a bit warmer though.

Left Elgin on Friday Afternoon for a retirement meal in Dundee that night. Left my car in Inverness and travelled down with someone in a Subaru Legacy (c/w snow tyres) - lot of snow on road but not a problem. Returned to Inverness about 0130 to find 3" of snow on my car and the last part of the trip about 37 miles the main road was ice.

These pics were around the Garden and this has all fallen in less than 48hrs (most of it within 18hrs) which is a bit worrying as no-one can remember having this much snow so early in the winter and the depth of the snow 8" is now more than we had at the worst point last winter.

No snow but lots of rain !
Another cricket day washed out on Saturday.
Looks like more of the same for rest of the week even more showers forecast for next Saturday. Great start to summer down here. Looks nice and cold Alex.
